Henderson County Schools Online Student Registration Information for the 2017-18 school year
Henderson County school buildings will be closed during summer break.  However, anyone who needs access to a computer for registration can visit the Technology Support Center at the Henderson County Board of Education Campus, 1805 Second Street, or the Professional Development Center, 631 North Green Street, (near Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center).
Assistance will be available at both locations until July 27th,
Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Additional evening hours are available at the Technology Support Center on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
Classroom assignments will not be announced until parent/guardian has completed online registration.

High Attendance Week

September 18th-22nd is high attendance week. Each day will feature a different theme encouraging students to be at school and soar to success.
Monday- Wear space related gear
Tuesday- Dress like a pirate
Wednesday- Wear your favorite Disney gear
Thursday- Dress like your favorite superhero
Friday- Wear EHS shirt or red

Fall Book Fair

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.
Book Fair dates: September 18-22
Shopping hours: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Special activities: Parent Conference Night, Thursday, September 21st from 3-6:00 p.m.

EHS Hawks Helping Harvey

Thank you so much to everyone that made donations for EHS to send to people affected by Harvey! You definitely made a difference. EHS collected a total of 1,316 items!

EHS welcomes new principal, Mrs. Erika Odom

EHS is excited to introduce the new principal for the 2017-2018 academic year! The SBDM Council has worked very diligent to find a new principal for East Heights. We are delighted to announce Erica Odom will be the principal beginning July 1. Currently she serves as assistant principal at Union County Middle School. Mrs. Odom graduated from Henderson County High School, received a bachelor of science in sociology and master of arts in teaching from the University of Louisville and a master of arts in Education from Murray State University. Mrs. Odom has a strong background in Instructional practices and passion for students and their learning. We will keep you posted on dates she will be at East Heights so you can meet her. Mrs Odom and her family reside in Henderson.
