Fall Book Fair

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.
Book Fair dates: September 18-22
Shopping hours: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Special activities: Parent Conference Night, Thursday, September 21st from 3-6:00 p.m.

EHS welcomes new principal, Mrs. Erika Odom

EHS is excited to introduce the new principal for the 2017-2018 academic year! The SBDM Council has worked very diligent to find a new principal for East Heights. We are delighted to announce Erica Odom will be the principal beginning July 1. Currently she serves as assistant principal at Union County Middle School. Mrs. Odom graduated from Henderson County High School, received a bachelor of science in sociology and master of arts in teaching from the University of Louisville and a master of arts in Education from Murray State University. Mrs. Odom has a strong background in Instructional practices and passion for students and their learning. We will keep you posted on dates she will be at East Heights so you can meet her. Mrs Odom and her family reside in Henderson.

Online Registration for Henderson County Schools

Henderson County Schools is excited to inform you that on-line registration for Henderson County Schools will be implemented for the 2017-2018 school year. Online registration will replace student enrollment forms and will be a quicker more efficient system. We are asking for your help now to prepare. It is important for parents/guardians to set up an Infinite Campus/Parent Portal account. Please contact your school secretary or ask how to set up a Parent Portal account at parent teacher conference the next few weeks. We will keep you updated throughout this process on our website, social media, and email.
Once you have an Activation Code from your school:

Click the CLICK HERE link for parents with an Activation Key.
Use Activation key as GUID Number to log in
Set up your User Name and Password

East Heights placed 1st overall and quick recall team placed 3rd

Congratulations to EHS STLP members for qualifying for the state competition during their participation at the Regional STLP hosted by Western Kentucky University. Their project, Bad News Bears Need a Ballpark, was invited to compete at the STLP State Championship in Lexington on April 12, 2017.
