East Heights Elementary students celebrated December birthdays with special guests from Norway. The company Hydro Aluminum is sponsoring the birthday program and they came to celebrate with students while in Henderson.

Due to water-covered roads, continued rising waters throughout the morning, and the threat of severe weather, Henderson County Schools will be closed on Friday, March 3. This will not be an NTI day of instruction. Child care centers will be open today at East Heights, Bend Gate, and Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center.
